MARY J BLIGE NOT ACCEPTED IN TO HOWARD UNIVERSITY/ UNIVERSITY REP SETS THE RECORD STRAIGHT

 Earlier this week it was reported that singer Mary J Blige announced that she had passed her G.E.D ( High School Equivalency Diploma) and had been accepted in to Howard University.    I refused to post this news at the time because I thought it sounded a bit fishy, and it turns out that I wasn’t the only one who thought the story sounded a bit suspect.  Various media outlets contacted the university and a rep later clarified that Mary “hadn’t yet been accepted as a student”  adding, “We […]
