A future Hollyoaks storyline will see an alien land on Earth and befriend one of the soap’s characters.
Kevin the Alien will arrive from Aecyron Proxima Centauri – a red dwarf star in the constellation of Centauri, reports the Daily Star Sunday.
Viewers of the Chester-based soap will see sci-fi geek Elliot Bevan (Garnon Davies) attempt to convince friends and family that Kevin is a real alien.
“Some of the cast actually burst out laughing when they were told about Kevin. But they have already started filming the storyline so it’s going to happen.”
And they wonder why their viewing figures have hit rock bottom.

I know one of those annoying daytime US soaps had an alien storyline, a few years back. Complete with pods & green eerie lighting…They turned out to be illegitimate twins by the main villain, who staged the whole thing or something even more stupid than that.
I still ask my cousin why the hell she still watched it, it being Days of Our Lives – had to google the ish.
