Well according to reports it’s finally happened.. it’s official…. UK group N-Dubz have signed to Def Jam Records.
Def Jam’s Vice-President of A&R Max Gousse said,
“I signed N-Dubz because they’re great entertainers and speak to London’s youth unlike any other band. We want to bring their message to the rest of the world.”
They speak to London’s youth?
You don’t have a clue Max! Go back to surfing Myspace for new talent.
I am old enough to remember when Def Jam only signed the cream of the crop, who then went on to record classics.
What happened? The label really has gone to the dogs.
Anyway congratulations N-Dubz.
Best of luck.
[Thanks Nessa]
