An art teacher accused of hurting a badly behaved pupil with a tube of glue began a £10,000-a-day trial today over the ‘relatively minor injury’.
Lynda May is accused of slamming a Pritt Stick on to the 12-year-old’s desk and catching his thumb after he lost his temper.

Well, the teacher who threw the dumbbell got cleared for attempted murder. She might get lucky…
You think so Adaobi?
Dunno, kids are more badass now & they know the teachers can’t do nothing. If the dude could walk from throwing a weight at a student. Then glue should be walk-thru.
hmmm….double negative…*can’t do anything…
Kid has special needs. She might not be able to convince them.
Oh, she’s screwed.
Most probably.
Special needs? Nowadays they seem to name kids with a bit of a bad temper with special needs :0(
Special needs, people with learning difficulties, who easily get frustrated and need extra attention and seek it in any form. If u work with that group of clientele, its expected and teacher shd have known better. Having said that, people who work in this type of job are easily stressed and lack proper support 2 deal with the mental challenges they face.
Who knew that Pritt Stick could be a deadly assault weapon…I got a whole draw of them at work…I can become a dealer on road
