I have come across articles featuring Janelle and seen her videos posted on numerous websites, but I’ve never bothered to read those articles or bothered to click on play.
I just couldn’t be bothered! It can only be described as pure laziness.
But that all changed today when I decided to listen to her new single Tightrobe.
I am now kicking myself for not checking the singer out from the start.
Janelle you now have a new fan!
In this video she reminds me of a female James Brown.
Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

C’mon J, I posted this during the Kiely incident. Been following her since Violet Stars/Happy Hunting. Even her pre-cyborg songs were good. She’s now unfortunately signed to Bad Boys/Atlantic and Wondaland Arts Society.
Oh, & keep kicking yourself.
