JAY-Z ANNOUNCES 3 UK SHOWS

Live Nation and Roc Nation are delighted to announce the return of JAY-Z to the UK this summer for 3 special headline shows.

JAY-Z will play Manchester’s MEN Arena on Monday 7th June and the LG Arena in Birmingham on Wednesday 9th June, topping it off with a headline performance at Wireless sponsored by Barclaycard in London’s Hyde Park on Sunday 4th July. Tickets for all shows go on sale Friday 19th February at 9am.  Tickets for Wireless available at www.wirelessfestival.co.uk and tickets for the Arena shows are available at www.livenation.co.uk.

I can already feel the ‘mighty’ Jay-Z’s presence in the country. The crucifix around my neck is glowing red and burning in to my skin.

The UK just can’t seem to get enough of old Lucifer.

I await Live Nation’s over exaggerated announcement that tickets for Jay’s gigs have sold out in “2 seconds”, and the constant arse kissing that will come from all directions.

  1. @ step one… when did he release American Gangster?, wasn’t that good?

just asking, I’m no longer a fan, but I thought that album was quite strong, and have heard blue print 3 is good?

  2. American Gangster was 2007 but blatantly flung together at short notice so they could tie it in with the film and benefit from that all important cross-promotion. Blueprint 3 is horrific.
Then again, I liked Jay Z when he actually put some effort and thought into his music. People who just got into him in the last few years obviously dont have his older material to compare to.
either way, he’s dull as f-k nowadays.
