I am having a hard time believing this story!

A woman told today how she was tricked into a bigamous marriage by a serial fraudster.
Julie Stead, 28, thought her new boyfriend was a ‘loving and caring’ BT worker and after moving in with him she eagerly accepted an invitation to spend a two-week holiday with his family in his West African homeland.
Shortly after their arrival she was given elegant cream and white clothes by boyfriend Ahmed Jobe’s relatives, which she believed were gifts for her birthday a few days later.
On the day itself Ms Stead wore the clothes to go out with Jobe for what she believed was a birthday celebration.
She soon discovered the big event was her own marriage – and there was nothing romantic about the secrecy.
Ms Stead, a carer from Bridlington, East Yorkshire, was told she would be left stranded in Africa if she didn’t agree to go through with the surprise ceremony. Continue Reading…

Oh dear… the big bad treacherous African man tricked meek and mild Julie in to marrying him, and then threatened to leave her stranded in the “dark and dangerous continent” if she refused to go ahead with the wedding…

No way was this woman tricked. She met and fell in love with a worthless waste man criminal, and jumped at the chance of marrying him in the Gambia.
I doubt that old Julie here was forced against her will!
