Soul Culture reports that UK songstress Marsha Ambrosius has signed a new deal with Sony/BMG distributed label J Records. The singer was previously signed to Dr Dre’s Aftermath label. Congratulations Marsha. I hope it works out for her over at J Records and she finally manages to release her long-awaited debut album.

The BBC News website reports that reggae star Buju Banton has pleaded not guilty to a drug charge in a court in Florida. Banton was charged with conspiring to buy more than five kilograms of cocaine from an undercover law enforcement officer in December 2009.
