U2, JAY-Z AND SWIZZ BEATZ RECORD SONG FOR HAITI

Bono and Jay-Z

I just love it when major artists from different genres come together and produce a song within a matter of minutes to raise money for charity…

U2, Jay-Z and producer Swizz Beatz have recorded a song together to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake.

U2’s guitarist The Edge told Irish radio station 2FM the band “wrote a song, finished and recorded” last week after being contacted about the idea.

The Edge, Bono and Jay-Z, along with Rihanna, are due to appear in London for “a group performance” as part of Friday’s Hope For Haiti telethon.

George Clooney’s two-hour benefit show will be aired on MTV in the UK.

I hope the proceeds from the single go on to help make a difference in the victims lives.

  1. They betta pour in all that money to haiti. Foolish people. I wanna see pictures and videos of money and food and clothes being poured into haiti, not bloody rihannas face

  2. 2 Illuminists together, no chance. Let us not forget U2 and Live 8 together with Sir Bob Geldof. You don’t become a sir unless you are part of ‘that’ crew. Nope, regrettably most if not all will go in the pockets of these 2 masons.
