Andrew over at The Worst Kept Secret pointed out today that even though street dance troupe Diversity took home ‘The Britain’s Got Talent’ crown last night, it’s runner up Susan Boyle’s face that can be seen splashed across the front pages of all the newspapers today.
Susan comes across as being a lovely woman but she didn’t win the competition. Diversity did.
The media coverage should therefore be focused on them NOT the runner up!
But this is just typical of the British media.

They cannot even be bothered to see the positive side of their win. After all only susan can sell their papers. I terribly feel sorry 4 the young generation, hardly anyone gives a damn. They are caught up in their selfish little lives. KMT
I agree. They are not interested in Diversity’s win. It’s a ‘upset’
And do you know what? I wouldn’t be surprised if Susan gets to perform in front of the Queen too….
I think she will. I’m just pissed off. I like her but can they give them credit and make them worthy winners. They really worked hard and deserved it.
as we watched last night I declared that the media broke Susan – too true. A woman with mental illness paraded for our humour, promted to gyrate her hips for our amusement is nasty. Im glad she didnt win – gives her an opportunity to be cared for her family cos Simon Cowell and ITV are counting the money at her expense.
Im glad Diversity won !!!
i expect nothing else from the english media!!!
they despise hip hop culture in any format!!! so them being treated like this is exactly what i expect .. i wish i didnt but i do! sorry in advance for the haters that love to sit back and not comment!!!!
sorry indeed!!
@iriesoul
She’s been admitted to the Priory and has been sectioned under the mental health act… this happened this morning
im not supprised at all – while the producers admire their ratings kmt!
What is crazy is I have never heard of the group diversity until today. Now that is fucked up bcuz when I did not realize they were a group!!!!!!
*did not realize u were talking about a group. ..
Its been months now since the first time I saw Ms.Susan Boyle in YouTube singing that heart warming song from Les Miserables. Every now and then, if I needed a 10-minute break from my work surfing the net, I would always go back to Ms. Boyle’s youtube. Her voice warms my heart, the reaction of the people and the judges still amuses me, never fails to give me a smile. But most of all, it always gives me a hope that someday my dream will come true just like hers. No matter what other people say, I would forever thank Susan Boyle for giving me that inspiration to never stop dreaming. š
