A singer from the German girl band No Angels has been arrested on suspicion of infecting a partner with HIV, a prosecutor’s office has said.
Nadja Benaissa is suspected of having unprotected sex with three men without informing them she was HIV-positive, German media reported.
The 26-year-old singer was arrested on Saturday in Frankfurt before she was due to perform in a solo concert.
She reportedly faces a possible charge of grievous bodily harm. Continue Reading…..

somebody else ‘claiming’ that she also sleept with him unprotected and when he questioned her about it some years after, she said it ain’t nothing to do with her if he has HIV….
well I’m thinking, if it weren’t so, surely she wouldn’t still be on remand in a german prison, they would have at least given her bail, and I’m yet to find a statement from her declaring her innocence.

People have stereotypes about HIV/AIDS, they think its for the poor especially blacks. U find so much attention focused on poor countries and yet its every where. There’s alot of negligence in britain at least. Ah

@ lati… AIDS/HIV was at one point in time said to be a gay diease! Which was not a fact. And of course it spread throughout the WORLD!! AIDS/HIV is NOT a black diease and not ONLY DO POOR ppl contract the diease. I am CERTAIN PR has the same issues… PR happens to be part of the world… Right. @inejas and viva lola, that is the sad reality of this whole thing. We can never be 2 careful sometimes. Its a scary experience 4 everyone. Jailing her can be counterproductive in that people will not be open. I guess we are trapped in the cycle.
