Singer Alexandra Burke was crowned X Factor winner 2008 this evening.
Burke beat four-piece group JLS.
Teenager Eoghan Quigg finished in third place.

CONGRATULATIONS !!! to Alexandra she sooooooo deserved it. She has real talent and star quality.
Only one crtitcism and this is not a criticism of her but the big hair and oversized gold dress just aged her and was very unflattering to her superb figure.
She is only twenty, so I hope in 6 months to a years time they don’t turn her into a BIG weave diva, sequinned dress wearing, ballad singing bore like last years winner, who they have successfully turned into Shirley Bassey.
I hope Alexandra stays young, fresh, trendy and successful for a long time to come.
um…maybe this was just a bad performance for her…i didn’t keep up with this x factor…maybe she has sung better…didn’t sound to good to me..

Congrats to her,shes worked so hard over the past few weeks and in one night so many dreams come true.Her look was pure diva reminisent of Mariah Careys performance @ divas live.The gold dress definatly set off the mood and placed her right up there with the power divas!!
