It seems that musician and wannabe politician Wyclef Jean is having a hard time accepting his rejection as a presidential candidate for Haiti’s November election. To cut a long story short Wyclef’s bid was rejected because the Haitian constitution requires candidates to have lived in the country for five years prior to an election. The former Fugees star hasn’t lived in the country for years and is therefore ineligible to run. Via The Mail An award-winning video director repeatedly raped his daughters to create a ‘pure’ bloodline that would survive Doomsday, a court has heard. Aswad Ayinde, who won an MTV award for directing The Fugees’ ‘Killing Me Softly’, fathered six children with his daughters from the mid-1980s until 2002, New Jersey prosecutors said. Former Fugees member Wyclef Jean is at the centre of a new situation concerning his recently foreclosed Miami Beach mansion. The Palm Beach Post reports that Jean took out a $2 million mortgage from Home Equity Mortgage Corp. in 2004 to purchase the estate through a corporation he owns with several friends.
