The saga continues…. It has been reported via the Twitter streets that the newest addition to the Sugababes Jade Ewen has left the troubled group. The Sugababes first hit the music scene back in 1998 with founding members Mutya Buena, Siobhan Donaghy and Keisha Buchanan. Siobhan Donaghy left the group soon after and was replaced by Heidi Range. Former Sugababes group member Mutya Buena announced yesterday on Facebook that she had won the rights to the ‘Sugababes’ name. It was then assumed that the group would have to change their name after losing the legal battle. But the group’s management have issued the statement below to set a few things straight. Source

Our friends over at the Punch Bowl Blog caught up with former Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan at the Wireless Festival, which is currently taking place in Hyde Park this weekend. According to the website Snoop Dogg brought the house down, while Missy Elliott (I had no idea she was on the bill) kept the crowd waiting for 15 minutes which later resulted in her set being cut mid-song due to lateness. Keisha Buchanan, Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah Keisha Buchanan, the last remaining original member from the hit girl group The Sugababes, has announced today that she has left the group. Official Statement: The current line-up of the Sugababes has disbanded. Heidi Range and Amelle Berrabah will continue as the Sugababes and will be joined by new member Jade Ewen.
