Groundbreaking early noughties group the So Solid Crew announced in a press conference this morning that their reunion tour will kick off on March 21 at the IndigO2 in London. Expect to see Megaman, Lisa Mafia, Romeo, Harvey, Asher D, and Oxide and Neutrino performing the hits. Tickets will go on sale on Friday January 18. Anyway Skepta has done a good job of recapturing the early So Solid vibe, sound and visuals alongside the group’s leader Megaman. So good in fact that at first I thought it was Megaman featuring Skepta. I was a So Solid fan so I really like this track. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

So Solid’s MC Harvey is back with the new single ‘Escape’ featuring Cash James. Via Brown Eyez Okay… the beat isn’t bad but the lyrics are WEAK ( who was still bussin the running man in ’95’???) and Cash James’ vocals just don’t sit well on the track. Harvey it seems is also the latest UK “Urban” soul to jump on the rap electro bandwagon…. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?
