The Daily Star reports that R. Kelly is being probed to see if he had any involvement in an alleged South African concert investment scam. The young nephews of singer R. Kelly are in police custody after authorities claimed they were involved in a robbery at a Chicago barbershop. Brayel Kelly landed in a Chicago medical center after he was shot during the attempted robbery, while his brother Brandon was arrested after serving as an alleged “lookout.” Their father Carey Kelly, infamously known for speaking out against his brother during his child pornography trial, said that his son was shot twice, with one bullet piercing his liver. Jurors began deliberating in R. Kelly’s child pornography trial Thursday with the graphic sex tape at the center of the case fresh in their minds. Prosecutors replayed the video during closing arguments, while defense attorneys reiterated that it’s neither Kelly nor the person the state says was the underage girl — now a 23-year-old woman — on the tape. The Chicago Sun Times reports that one week after news organizations asked the Illinois Supreme Court to unseal court documents and proceedings in R&B star R. Kelly’s child pornography case, the court said no. In a terse, two-sentence ruling issued today, the Supreme Court denied the news outlets’ motion for a supervisory order. R.Kelly will sing about anything these days. Now he’s singing about having an ellicit affair with the woman who braids his hair. I often wonder how Robert’s wife (secret wife up until 2002 when the proverbial hit the fan!) has managed to cope all these years. Robert is one very dirty beast…. Anyway your thoughts please…..
