Via The London Evening Standard Boris Johnson has appointed a new Gangs’ Czar to “revitalise” City Hall’s response to the problem in the wake of the Evening Standard’s Frontline London campaign. Former Deputy Mayor Ray Lewis London’s deputy mayor has resigned two months into his post amid claims of financial irregularities. Ray Lewis faced allegations relating to his time as a vicar in east London in the late 1990s and head of a youth academy scheme in 2003.
