The Dirty Awards took place last night (November 24th) and as you can all see… a good time was had by all! Rapper Alfamega and before the foolishness……. Singers Trey Songz and Lloyd Rapper Bone Crusher and Keri Hilson “Rapper” Trina Singer Monica Photographs: Wireimage/Ben Rose
Last night (November 24th) the sophisticated Dirty Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia and ended in violence and mayhem…. Radio One’s fourth annual Dirty Awards ended abruptly this evening when two separate altercations erupted reportedly between rapper Shawty Lo and members of the Grand Hustle camp tonight (November 24). An eye witness told AllHipHop.com that the tension between the two crews mounted during Shawty Lo’s performance, which included a diss version of Grand Hustle artist Yung LA’s song “Ain’t I.” As Lo performed his version […]
Your thoughts please….
Photo Source Thanks goes out to reader Cleo C for drawing this to my attention. UK rapper Pyrelli, who I always thought was already a some what established artist (he has been doing his thing for years now and enjoyed some success) has entered the Orange Unsigned Act, which is a nationwide competition to find the best unsigned musical talent in the UK. I am still surprised to hear that he has entered this competition. He is already relatively well known, so why does he need to get involved […]
I swear the “characters” within the world of Hip Hop/Rap music become more and more distasteful as each day passes. Former Dipset rapper/hype man/dancer Freakey Zekey (who is in his 30s!!!!!!) sits between two men and proceeds to show another man off camera how he likes to have sex with the “bitches”, by stimulating a particular sexual postion….. Watch from mark 0.00 – 0.25 (He really get’s in to it) and then he goes on to brag about sleeping with Lloyd Banks’ girlfriend (*rolls eyes*) Freaky should watch this footage back and feel […]
‘Knock Ya Self Out’ is taken from Jada’s 2001 debut solo album ‘Kiss Da Game Goodbye’. I have this album and it’s pretty good. Anyway I loved this track back in 01 and still love it today. Jada could have been HUGE!!!!! What the hell happened Jada??????? Universal Music restrict blogs/websites from embedding their artists videos on sites (they still don’t get it) so click here to watch.
Ok.. I admit it… I’ve been a closet T.I fan for some time now – since he released ‘Rubberband Man’. I just love this. I listen to it before I set out for the plantation in the mornings. It gives me hope (lol) Rihanna isn’t the greatest vocalist in the world, we all know this, but she actually sounds good on this track.
I support Chipmunk. He’s young (17), fresh, focused, seems to have a good head on his shoulders, and his music doesn’t sound half bad. You can tell that the North London based emcee puts some thought in to creating a track before subjecting it to an unsuspecting audience. Unlike some that I could mention, who insist on continuing to contaminate the UK Scene with piss poor rhymes, piss poor flows, piss poor production and piss poor music promos. Louik Essien is a gifted vocalist, so why is he attempting to channel in Lil Wayne/T-Pain on this track? Your thoughts […]
Last night (November 12th) Jim Jones made his theatrical debut in the play The Hip Hop Monologues ‘Inside The Life And Mind Of Jim Jones’. The production also featured tracks from his forthcoming album ‘Pray For Reign’, which will drop early next year. From what I understand both he and Damon ‘bruk pocket’ Dash came up with this unique concept. Bruk Pocket who is desperate to become relevant again is now Jim’s manager/business partner. Any way I’ve said this before and will say it again, Denzel Washington needs to […]
