UK MUSIC: DIONNE BROMFIELD FT MZ BRATT – OUCH (DEMONS NEVER DIE MIX)

Check Dionne Bromfield’s new single Ouch featuring rapper Mz Bratt, taken from up and coming “urban” horror flick Demons Never Die soundtrack. [Thanks Noir] …. I like Dionne, she’s a strong vocalist and the song isn’t bad. However the song could have done without the bars. Nothing against Mz Bratt but I have said it before and I will say it again not every UK “Urban” song needs to feature a rapper. It’s just not necessary. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: FEMALE TAKEOVER – GAME OVER REMIX

Cherri V, Ruff Diamonds, A Dot, Envy, Lioness, Baby Blue, RoXXXan, Mz Bratt and Lady Leshurr are featured on the remix version of the ‘Game Over’ track which features Tinchy Stryder, Devlin, Prof Green, Example, Chipmunk, Giggs, Tinie Tempah. When I first heard that there were plans to release a remix version of the track featuring just female artists I thought ‘is this really necessary?’. But having just heard the remix I think it sounds pretty good, and they have bags more charisma than Tinchy and co. I am happy to []

UK MUSIC: MZ BRATT – SELECTA

Well… Mz Bratt’s Jafaken accent is interesting….. But surprisingly I don’t hate the this track… it’s catchy, it’s a grower,  and has the potential to become a hit single. Selecta also takes me back to the mid 1990s when Jungle music was all the rage. The video – I have a headache now. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK VIDEO: SELAH FT SADIE AMA & MZ BRATT – WOMAN’S WORLD

When I first posted Woman’s World on the site several months ago I said that I liked it, and still do. However I still think that they could have done without the guest rapper on the track. There are songs out there that don’t require a rapper to spit bars. This is one of them. But regardless I think the song will be a hit. The video – They all look beautiful standing in front of the black background, but the other []

UK MUSIC: MZ BRATT – ‘WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?’

This is the official video for Mz Bratt’s debut single ‘Who Do You Think You Are’. The video has a number of featured cameo’s, but as most of you already know, I don’t really pay that much attention to what goes on within the world of UK ‘urban’ entertainment, so I only recognise one or two faces… and Mz Bratt. (lol) I actually like this track. I think it’s really catchy, and something that I would play in the summer while sitting []
