VIDEO: JUSTICE FOR SMILEY CULTURE MARCH (LONDON)

Thousands of supporters and family members of 80s Reggae star Smiley Culture (real name David Emmanuel) marched to Metropolitan Police headquarters New Scotland Yard yesterday (16 April)  calling for a public inquiry in to his death. David died during a police raid inside his home on March 15 and according to the MET died from a stab wound to the chest while “making a cup of tea”. Rest In Peace David Emmanuel aka Smiley Culture.

‘Hold Me Down’ is the debut single from new artist MyM’s (real name Maryam Shofowora). The single will be featured on her debut album ‘Changing Rooms’ to be released in late 2011. Multi-award winning all-brother band Four Kornerz are to release their new single Superstar on Monday 2 May, 2011.   Catch22 supporter and script writer, Tara Jayne Manufor has written a musical drama about the issues young people face. The show takes place on Sunday 1 May at the Tabernacle Theatre in Notting Hill and all ticket profits will go to Catch22. Tara Jayne is staging the production as part of her ITV Fixers project.
