UK rapper Giggs was interviewed before his surprise appearance on stage at the MOBO Awards (Music Of Black Origin) on Thursday night. At the beginning of this footage it says ‘Giggs chats to Max’, but it should actually say ‘Max chats to Giggs’, because she’s the one doing most of the chatting. I’ve come to the conclusion that Giggs is shy and a nervous wreck when being interviewed, which explains the one/two word answers. I think his label should fly him over to the States and send […]

Our friends over at the Punch Bowl Blog caught up with former Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan at the Wireless Festival, which is currently taking place in Hyde Park this weekend. According to the website Snoop Dogg brought the house down, while Missy Elliott (I had no idea she was on the bill) kept the crowd waiting for 15 minutes which later resulted in her set being cut mid-song due to lateness. The MOBO (Music Of Black Origin) Awards will soon be upon us (yippee!) and this year the ceremony will take place in Liverpool on the 20th October. Will the ‘safe’ Sean Paul take home the Best Reggae Artist Award AGAIN??? Will Justin Bieber win the Best International Male Artist award??? Will LADY GAGA win the Best International Female Artist award??? ( Note: she was nominated last year) Or will they just hand those awards over to the usual suspects… brand Beyonce and Lucifer? Anyway, Mobo founder Kanya King was recently interviewed with singer Leona Lewis, and is behaving like she popped a few happy pills beforehand (seriously […]

Footballer Jermain Defoe is a clown! I am a bit of a control freak. If I get married, my wife isn’t going out. No way. She’s staying at home. She’s not going out to clubs without me. I’ve already decided the rules, whoever she is. [The Sunday Mirror Magazine – Celebs On Sunday] Click HERE to read the full interview. I wonder if Jermain was actually being serious when he said this…. Then again it might explain why none of his ‘relationships’ stand the test of time, […]

[Thanks Mikey] Jay-Z is featured in the May 2010 issue of Esquire Magazine UK – “Jay-Z Why He’s The CEO Of Cool”, and TV/radio personality Jonathan Ross has written an article about the rapper. The British mainstream media’s obsession with Jay is just nauseating! You have BBC Radio personality Jo Whiley who I always associate with the Indie Rock scene, fawning, cooing and wetting herself over Jay and now Jonathan’s his biggest fan. To some Jay-Z is now the acceptable face of […]
