… This new video by rapper Young Don featuring Fekky had me in stitches today. Hahahahahahahahahaha – 90s gangster rap and video imagery has a hell of a lot to answer for. Men driving through London in high-end vehicles (with the top down) on what looks like a cold, wet and glum day in the city. Perhaps the director was expecting a heat wave on the day of the shoot. … This is why I grow to despise the UK music industry more and more as each day passes. Artists like Cherri Voncelle and Vula Malinga  to name but a few are talented, they can SING their backsides off and make good music, but industry executives in this country still continue to sign and push female singers to the forefront whose vocals/talent pale in comparison (An unfair decision usually based on race and on who they consider “marketable”). NEW MUSIC: AALIYAH FEATURING DRAKE – ENOUGH SAID

… Enough Said is taken from Aaliyah’s posthumous album and for some reason the Aaliyah estate has given Drake the greenlight to produce the album. I like hearing Aaliyah’s vocals on the single but when Drake jumps in I just think ‘WHY???’ Sometimes it is best to just leave things alone. Rest In Peace Aaliyah.
