The BBC Radio Hackney Weekend music festival took place this past weekend and judging from the feedback it was a huge success. I didn’t attend but watched some of the performances on BBC 3. UK NEWS: JAY-Z TO HEADLINE HACKNEY WEEKEND

The Jay-Z lovefest continues… It has been announced that the rapper will headline BBC Radio 1’s “highly anticipated” Olympic Celebration, the Hackney Weekend 2012 on June 23rd. Tinie Tempah, Jessie J, Plan B, Ed Sheeran and Will.iam are also on the bill. It’s like all my Christmases have come at once. YIPPEE!!!
