Well it’s almost here folks!!! The highly anticipated BBC Radio Hackney Weekend music festival will take over Hackney Marshes this weekend. If you were to tell me years ago that BBC Radio would host a major music event in delightful Hackney and on the marshes I would have laughed my head of and sent you on your way. It has been announced that Nas will be headlining on the 1xtra stage at the BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekend 2012 on Sunday June 24 (Hackney Marshes). Click HERE for more information. Finally an artist on the bill to get excited about and who is worth seeing. I love this man.
