Via NY Daily News Naomi Sims, the first black supermodel, died of cancer Saturday in Newark at age 61, the New York Times reports. Sims broke barriers when she made the cover of Ladies Home Journal in 1968 — becoming the first black model to do so on a mainstream women’s magazine. It’s been reported that Rachel Roy, the wife of Damon ‘Bruk Pocket’ Dash, has filed for divorce. According to an electronic record obtained by The New York Daily News fashion designer Roy is aware of Dash’s bruk pocket status as the divorce is for “non monetary relief”.

Source I haven’t purchased a copy of Vibe in 3 years. But I may snap up a copy of April’s issue. I would really like to know how T.I managed to get off with such a lenient prison sentence. An already convicted felon caught with all those guns in his possession. How did he manage to get off so lightly??? The rapper will begin his prison sentence on the 27th March and will spend one year and one day behind bars after pleading guilty to possession of unregistered weapons.
