BBC News reports that 1990s Hip Hop star Vanilla Ice (real name Robert Van Winkle) has signed up to appear in panto. The star will play Captain Hook in a production of Peter Pan at the Central Theatre in Chatham, Kent. The “big dawg” Tim Westwood has claimed via Twitter that producers from ITV1 show Dancing On Ice have offered him £50K to appear on next years show as one of the ‘celebrity’ contestants. As expected most of Tim’s followers have encouraged him to join next years line up, I’m guessing for their own amusement.
