[Thanks Noir] In partnership with Colourful Radio. Bino and Fino are finally going to make it to UK TV screens. It will be for a limited time only though so make sure you catch it. The cartoon will be shown on Showcase TV which is channel 201 on Sky TV. It will also be available on channel 403 of Freesat. It will be the first time kids in the UK will get to watch an African educational cartoon from Nigeria on their screens.

The Hit Men is the idea of illustrator and writer Mike GLC. The Hit Men idea came to him 6 years ago whilst he was serving time in Wandsworth jail. The BBC has turned children’s book series Rastamouse in to a cartoon series. Rastamouse is a children’s book series, written by Genevieve Webster (an author and illustrator) and Michael De Souza (a Rastafarian swimming instructor). Rastamouse books are written in rhyme with a Jamaican accent. Rastamouse is the main character. Other characters that play a big part in the books are Scratchy and Zoomer. It’s been reported that comedian/radio personality Richard Blackwood and Britain’s Got Talent ‘judge’ Amanda Holden are both set to star in Shrek The Musical, which will open in May 2011 in London’s West End. From what I understand Richard will be playing Donkey. I look forward to seeing him in make-up/costume. [Thanks Kaydine]

Yes folks Fiddy’s at it again! Last year rapper Rick Ross’ former “drug kingpin” status was put in to question and shot down in flames when it was revealed that old Ricky boy was once a corrections officer (prison officer). Officer Ross refused to admit that he once held down a respectable job, but the EVIDENCE told a different story. Anyway Rick and Fifty are now beefing. Why? Who knows, who cares! However this cartoon aimed at Rick did make me laugh.
