UK NEWS: UK FILM COUNCIL TO BE ABOLISHED

The new coalition government has decided to axe the UK Film Council, as part of their bid to save money. The Film Council was set up by the Labour government in 2000 to develop and promote the British film industry. Continue Reading….. This news has shocked me. The organisation has helped to fund so many great projects over the years.

UK FILM: 4.3.2.1 REVIEW

I recently attended the press screening for the highly anticipated new British film 4.3.2.1, starring Noel Clarke, Emma Roberts, Adam Deacon, Tasmin Egerton, Shanika Warren-Markland and Ophelia Lovibond. 4.3.2.1 follows the lives of four best friends who become involved in a major diamond heist. A much put upon and harassed Joanne (Emma Roberts) works shifts in a 24 hour supermarket. A job she clearly despises and you get the impression that she doesn’t have much of a social life.
