BERNIE MAC DIES AT 50

Comedian and actor Bernie Mac died early Saturday morning from complications due to pneumonia, his publicist confirmed. Mac, 50, had been hospitalized for about a week at Northwestern Hospital, according to his spokeswoman. A few years ago, Mac disclosed that he suffered from sarcoidosis, a rare autoimmune disease that causes inflammation in tissue, most often in the lungs. MORGAN FREEMAN RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

Morgan Freeman has been released from hospital, after suffering shoulder damage, a broken elbow and a broken arm, sustained in a near fatal car accident in Mississpi last week. The actor told TV’s ‘Entertainment Tonight’ “I’m doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at Elvis Presley medical facility and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It’s great to know people care about you.”

Website TMZ.com has reported that actor Morgan Freeman was seriously injured in a car accident last night (August 3rd) in Mississipi.   “A spokesperson at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis told us Morgan Freeman’s condition is “serious” after he was injured in a car accident last night.
