UK NEWS: WOMAN STABBED TO DEATH

A woman has died after being stabbed in a late night incident. Dee Willis, 28, received a wound to her upper body during the attack at around 11pm on Tuesday in Bellenden Road, close to Peckham High Street in south east London. Ms Willis was taken to Kings College Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after midnight. Neighbours said that Ms Willis recently miscarried twins. Detectives said they were looking for a female suspect, believed to have acted alone. The incident comes []

NELSON MANDELA REMOVED FROM US TERROR LIST

US President George W Bush has signed a bill removing Nelson Mandela and South African leaders from the US terror watch list, officials say. Mr Mandela and ANC party members will now be able to visit the US without a waiver from the secretary of state. The African National Congress (ANC) was designated as a terrorist organisation by South Africa’s old apartheid regime. A US senator said the new legislation was a step towards removing the “shame of dishonouring this great leader”. []

MAD NEWS: O2 WIRELESS FESTIVAL – HEADLINER JAY -Z

Thanks to the lovely folk over at Hall or Nothing (thanks Tom), I will be attending the O2 Wireless Festival on Thursday (July 3rd), in Hyde Park, London.  Artists performing on the day: Jay-Z, Mark Ronson, Roisin Murphy. UK NEWS: PAIR BAILED AFTER STREET STABBING

Murdered: 16 year old Ben Kinsella  Two youths arrested over the murder of Ben Kinsella, who was stabbed to death in a London street, have been released on police bail. Ben, 16, was attacked during a row with youths in York Way, Holloway, north London, at about 0200 BST on Sunday. The youngster, the 17th teenager killed in London this year, died in hospital a few hours later. His sister, Brooke Kinsella, who played Kelly Taylor in the BBC One soap EastEnders, said []

GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS: JAY-Z AND AMY WINEHOUSE

Jay-Z answered his critics by performing the classic Oasis track ‘Wonderwall at Glastonbury after Oasis star Noel Gallagher criticised the rapper headlining the festival.  LMAO!!!!!!
