Good news for Dizzee! Rapper Dizzee Rascal (real name Dylan Mills) has escaped charges after he was arrested for becoming embroiled in a road rage incident involving a baseball bat. Mills was detained earlier this month after chasing another driver with the weapon following an argument in Orpington Kent, England. The 24-year-old returned to Bromley police station in Kent on Tuesday, where he admitted to being guilty of a public order offence and accepted an official caution. SINGER/ACTRESS EARTHA KITT DIES
Via BBC News American singer and actress Eartha Kitt has died at the age 81, a family friend has said. Ms Kitt was said to have been suffering from cancer. She was one of the few artists to be nominated in the Tony, Grammy and Emmy award categories and was a stalwart of the Manhattan cabaret scene. Earlier this week, A.C. Thompson of The Nation revealed that after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005, white vigilante groups patrolled the city, blockaded streets, and shot at least eleven black men. Color of Change plans on organising a campaign to force Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and state officials to investigate the shootings, because “Louisiana’s broken law enforcement agencies have refused to investigate these crimes.” I can believe this happened.
