The Evening Standard reports that Madonna is to take her adopted Malawian children David and Mercy, to meet their biological families. A source said the children “can proudly show off their dance skills and meet their relatives”. ………………………………………… I don’t know whether to laugh or cry at the source’s alleged quote. I bet their families can’t wait to see those Vogue moves. Anyway I would love to be a fly on the wall during those meetings.

Via The Times Online Twelve schoolchildren will appear in court on Monday, charged with the murder of a 15-year-old boy at London’s Victoria Station, in a legal landmark case. Sofyen Belamouadden was stabbed repeatedly during what detectives believe was a pre-planned fight between rival school gangs who had descended on Victoria at rush-hour armed with several knives. Singer Rihanna performed her latest hit Rude Boy, at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards. I don’t understand why the organisers of this event would allow her to perform Rude Boy in front of a bunch of impressionable pre-teens. Have they not listened to lyrics? In the song Rihanna asks her lover if “it’s big enough”. Meaning is his penis big enough to satisfy her sexually, amongst other things…..  It’s just totally inappropriate. R.Kelly has released the video to his new single Echo via Twitter. You would have thought that after the trial and the “not guilty” verdict that Kelly would continue to enjoy hit after hit. But the hit records have dried up, interest has cooled to an icy chill, and now he’s resorted to releasing a low budget video on Twitter. I’m sure there’s a good explanation for this though…. This is sad news. I’ve always liked this show. It’s the end of an era.   Via Digital Spy ITV has confirmed that it is dropping police drama The Bill after 27 years on air. According to The Guardian, the decision comes after last year’s revamp and move to a 9pm slot failed to alter sliding ratings.
