Has Snoop Dogg’s (aka Snoop Lion) fraud rasta man antics finally caught up with him? Website Best Of Elite reports that the rapper turned “Sizzla” was beaten up by a group of Rastafarians during a recent trip to Jamaica. Former gang member turned actor and film director Fredi Nwaka showcased his short film on gang life (If Only) in London at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) earlier this month. [Thanks Russ] In December of last year I posted a piece about the film and Fredi’s new organisation C.R.I.M.E (Creating Role Models In Media Enterprise), which works with ex offenders, gang members and troubled teens, and turns their stories into short films.
