Look as far as I am concerned some of the current generation of UK rappers can only be described as sounding DIRE. People need to stop hyping up blatant mediocrity/rubbish. But I really liked this documentary. Your thoughts please….

In episode five host Codine Williams goes shopping to up her game and fit in with the girls of the dancehall. [Thanks Keysha] Oh dear… Hahahahahahahahahaha. Struggling host Codine went on a shopping trip with two dancehall groupies and still failed to “fit in”. Also I don’t quite understand why Codine thinks these ladies are “channelling Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj”. The colourful wigs, make up and outfits are nothing new in Jamaica. She should already know this.
Emma Anderson (82) was forcibly removed from a train by a security officer after he told her to stop singing hymns. Anderson suffered a bruised hip and shoulder and her furious family are now considering legal action. The incident was filmed by a fellow passenger. The security officer could have handled this situation differently but instead decided it was better to manhandle an elderly woman. I wonder if he would have reacted in this fashion if Anderson had been an elderly 82 year old Caucasian female.

True Story Nollywood is a documentary about the stories written and told by the world’s third largest film industry. According to the website Shadow and Act the documentary premiered last month at the Anthology Film Archives in New York City. I don’t know if there are plans to premier the film here in London.
