The Voice reports that comedian/actress Collette Johnson has died of cancer of the spine, after being diagnosed with the illness earlier this year. She was 52 years old. Collette was one of the original performers on the hit 1990s BBC comedy sketch show ‘The Real McCoy’ and starred in many sketches alongside fellow comedian Llewella Gideon. Llewella told The Voice, “I last saw Collette a couple of years ago,” Gideon said of her former colleague, who had also suffered from multiple sclerosis. […]

Via BBC News MPs have rejected possible UK military action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s government to deter the use of chemical weapons. David Cameron said he would respect the defeat of a government motion by 285-272, ruling out joining US-led strikes. The Voice reports that Martell Warren (22) has been charged with the murder of 24-year-old Sabrina Moss and injuring a second woman, also 24, in the early hours of Saturday morning. The mother of one from Neasden was shot in the chest in High Road, Kilburn, at around 4am. Warren will appear before Highbury Corner Magistrates Court tomorrow. … Rest In Peace Sabrina Moss.
