UK MUSIC: ORIE – ‘ZONIN’ / ‘FLY WITH ME’

UK artist Orie has just released the videos to his  singles  Zonin and Fly With Me. Check it out below. The intro goes on for too long and the vocals sound slightly off-key and shaky, but perhaps this was done deliberately for effect??? However this is the type of dance track that will probably get some air play in other parts of Europe. The video –  I don’t really understand it, but that’s one interesting looking blond chick. Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss? Your []

VIDEO: TREY SONGZ – THAT GRAPE JUICE INTERVIEW

Singer Trey Songz is currently here in the London on a promotional gig, and website That Grape Juice caught up with him for a chat. I’ve never really paid that much attention to Trey. I really don’t see what all the fuss is about. But this awkward interview made me laugh. First off Trey looks like a pretentious little fool sitting there wearing sunglasses throughout the entire interview, inside the Atlantic Records building. It’s just rude! He also comes across as being []

UK NEWS: MARK KERMODE REVIEWS SEX AND THE CITY 2

My favourite film critic Mark Kermode reviews Sex And The City 2 and SLAUGHTERS it. I love Mark! Hilarious! Sex And The City just doesn’t work on the big screen. The first film was a let down. I remember when the show was about the friendship between the four women first, then the relationships, and last but not least the fashion/lifestyle. Now the film franchise just seems focused on the fashion and product placement. They should have just focused on making another series. Forget []

UK MUSIC: PLAN B – PRAYIN

Rapper turned “Soul singer” Plan B follows up his recent top ten singles Stay Too Long and She Said with the third single Prayin. Going down the 60s Soul route has worked wonders for Plan’s career. That tabloid rag The Sun, currently the “number 1 source” for UK “Urban” music news, will probably report soon that music industry executives Stateside are going “CRAZY” for Plan B and his “new sound”. I bet the wheels have already been set in motion for Plan []

VIDEO: KELLY ROWLAND – COMMANDER

Kelly Rowland has released her new video for her new single Commander. I have always liked Dance music and really like this track. This could be a huge hit for Kelly. I just want to see her WIN! Your thoughts please. Hit or Miss?

UK MUSIC: ANGHA FT DELE – FOR YOU

Check out British Hip Hop duo Angha and their debut single For You, featuring Dele. For You is a well produced track, but it sounds very familiar, and has that late 90s / early noughties American R&B/Hip Hop saccharine sweat fusion going on. It actually reminds me of Jennifer Lopez’s 2001 hit featuring Nas, I’m Gonna Be Alright. Click HERE to watch. And for some reason Ja Rule’s 2004 track New York. Click HERE to watch. Duo Angha sound okay, but for []
