Well.. well.. it looks like Adidas won’t be releasing this mess in August after all. Via CNN German sports apparel maker Adidas withdrew its plans to sell a controversial sneaker featuring affixed rubber shackles after the company generated significant criticism when advertising the shoe on it’s Facebook page. The Independent reports that a passenger plane has crashed in Lagos, Nigeria. The Voice reports that former cocaine smuggler Junior James has launched the first of three books about his life. James who has served time for drug smuggling launched his debut book titled Diffrent at the Ritzy Cinema in Brixton (South London). Well the proverbial has well and truly hit the fan now. Via BBC News Rebekah Brooks and her husband, Charlie, are being charged with perverting the course of justice as part of the phone hacking inquiry. Three of Mrs Brooks’s staff, and News International security head Mark Hanna are also charged with the offence.
