Four-part channel 4 drama Top Boy which starts on Monday 31st October has been criticised by the mayor of Hackney Jules Pipe for perpetuating negative stereotypes of black people. The BBC reports that football club QPR will look in to claims that Chelsea star/England captain John Terry racially abused fellow player Anton Ferdinand during the Chelsea v QPR game yesterday. QPR officials will meet Ferdinand on Tuesday (24 October) and decide whether to proceed with a formal complaint. Pappzd reports that Northampton University student Nabila Nanfuka was trampled to death after trouble flared up in the Lava and Ignite Nightclub (Northampton). Terrified clubgoers stampeded out of the nightclub but Nabila fell and was trampled to death during the panic and commotion. The club was hosting the event the Wickedest Skank, organised as a university coach rave.
