Several days ago I posted news about the questionable up and coming Top Boy open casting call. UPDATE: Open casting auditions for the second series of the Channel 4 drama Top Boy have been cancelled. From what I hear via the Twitter streets hundreds of young people turned up to the open casting call today at Hoxton Hall in North London. The Voice Online reports that the annual Screen Nation Film & Television Awards (aka the ‘black Oscars’) which is due to take place on Sunday (November 11th) at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel has now been cancelled.
