BBC News reports that millionaire PR guru Max Clifford has been charged with eleven indecent assaults. The alleged offences relate to seven different women and girls ranging in age from 14 to 19 years old. Mr Clifford, 70, from Surrey, who says the allegations are “completely false”, will appear in court next month. STEPHEN LAWRENCE: 20 YEARS ON – REST IN PEACE

Today marks the 20th anniversary of black teenager Stephen Lawrence’s death. Stephen (18) was stabbed to death in an unprovoked racist attack in 1993 while he waited at a bus stop with friend Duwayne Brooks in Eltham, South East London.
