ELVIS PRESLEY’S GRANDSON SIGNS 5 MILLION DEAL WITH UNIVERSAL RECORDS

The Virgin Media website reports that Elvis Presley’s grandson has just landed a $5 million deal with the world’s biggest record company Universal Music, to make up to five albums.  17-year-old Benjamin Presley Keough says his music will be “nothing like Elvis at all.” Does this kid even possess any real talent? Has he put in the ground work and managed to build a solid fan base? I’m guessing NOT!!! Universal Music clearly still have money to throw away in an age when the music industry is struggling to stay afloat. []

US JUSTICE OF THE PEACE REFUSES TO ISSUE MARRIAGE LICENCES TO MIXED-RACE COUPLES

Keith Bardwell, of Tangipahoa Parish in Louisiana, denied racism but said mixed-race children were not readily accepted by their parents’ communities. The Nobel Committee said he was awarded it for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and co-operation between peoples”. WOMAN CAUGHT AT AIRPORT WEARING HEROIN LEGWARMERS

Via Forbez DVD A drug mule was caught with thousands of dollars worth of heroin around her legs at Dulles International Airport Sunday, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection. A CBP K-9 unit caught a whiff of 22-year-old Anna Sprauve’s legs at about 2 a.m. A search revealed packets of heroin taped to each of her legs and four packets in her backpack, according to CBP.
