“Urban” comic Kevin J opened the highly anticipated Screen Nation Awards ceremony last night at the IndigO2. I was unable to make it to the event but I’ve been told that Kevin was forced to cut his set short due to audience members failing to see the funny side after he made jokes about the London riots (Too soon folks???) and black people. ……. US artists seem to be performing here and in the rest of Europe more than ever now (Croatia seems to be a popular destination too), especially the one’s who haven’t had a hit record in America since Noah built the arc. Anyway I wonder who the ‘UK support’ act/s will be.

In 2006 I sat on a judging panel for a Female MC competition and Lioness reached the final. She has come a long way since then and is one talented young lady. Well done Lioness.
