Director and producer Victor Adebodun has sadly passed away.
Victor started his career in television and film working for the Soho based post production company, The Moving Picture Company. While there he worked on the following high profile films, Harry Potter, Narnia, G.I. Joe, James Bond’s Skyfall and Ridley Scott’s Prometheus.
In 2011, Victor and acclaimed writer Baby Isako, created the hit online web drama series Venus Vs Mars. The series went on to win several awards and was later broadcast on the satalite channel Sky Living, in 2015.
In 2012, he launched the production company PurpleGeko. Since its inception the company has produced a number of projects, including Venus vs Mars, Bag Ladies, It’s Alot and the hit film The Intent.
Victor was also a regular on the popular weekly podcast Cut The Chat, featuring Damon the Barber, DJ Ace, Femi Oyeniran and Lee Vassell.
Before his untimely death, Victor worked as a director on the long running soap Coronation Street and executive produced the forthcoming film The Come Up, the prequel to The Intent.
