Rapper Phife Dawg (real name Malik Isaac Taylor), a member of the legendary Hip Hop Group A Tribe Called Quest has died. She was 45 years old. 

Taylor had been struggling with ill-health and diabetes for several years, and received a kidney transplant from his wife in 2008.

He co-founded A Tribe Called Quest in 1985 with his classmates Q-Tip and Ali Shaheed Muhammad.

The cause of death has not been confirmed yet.
