It has been reported that singer Natalie Cole has died. She was 65 years old.

According to TMZ the daughter of music icon Nat King Cole, had been very sick recently, cancelling several tour dates in late December including a New Year’s Eve concert at Disney Hall in L.A. She also cancelled an upcoming February concert due to illness.

The website also reports that the singer died from congestive heart failure. There were also underlying medical issues were complications from a kidney transplant and Hepatitis C.

Cole died in a Los Angeles hospital on Thursday ( December 31) and leaves behind a son.

This news is both shocking and sad.
