The city of Spokane, Washington has opened an investigation into whether Rachel Dolezal, the president of the local chapter of the NAACP (The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People), lied about her race when she identified herself as African-American on her application to serve on the citizen police ombudsman commission, thereby violating the city’s code of ethics.
In addition to serving as the chair of the police commission and president of the local NAACP chapter—which the Spokesman Review credits her with revitalizing—Dolezal works as an adjunct faculty member at Eastern Washington University. Here she is delivering a lecture on the cultural significance of black women’s hair.
However! Dolezal’s birth certificate lists her biological parents as Ruthanne and Lawrence Dolezal of Montana. On Thursday, Ruthanne and Lawrence confirmed to the Coeur d’Alene Press that Rachel is their biological daughter—and that they are both white. Continue Reading…..

You know, it wouldn’t surprise me if the US government is involved with this deception. I wouldn’t put it past them to have planted her within the NAACP and among other black Civil Rights activists, to act as their spy.

although this was a absolute liberty, if this had been a script for a TV show it would have been the best comedy of all time. I just want to see the aftermath of this when everyone trawls through all her interviews and all her close friends and work mates come out of the woodwork to do interviews.
This is what happens when Black Americans accept anyone with the slightest drop of Black blood as Black. The US government had no reason to plant a White woman posing as Black into the NAACP. The first leaders of the NAACP were White and being Black has never been a requirement.
According to her parents she doesn’t have a drop of black blood in her.
Yes, I have since learned that the organisation was started by white people etc. That answers a few questions….
The US government might not have a reason to plant her within the NAACP but there are other black organisations/movements who she was free to move amongst. More and more organisations this time started by young black people are springing due to recent events. I put nothing past the government. But then again she could be just a deceitful nutcase.

If the one drop rule means any who black blood is black, then that also means that anyone with white blood should be considered white! Hold on! That would mean 70% of African-Americans can now call themselves White! looooool

@riceandpeas have you actually read the articles in relation to this story? Her parents have stated she is Caucasian. There is no “one drop” here.
