2015 has started well for model Jourdan Dunn. Dunn will feature on the cover of British Vogue’s February issue. Why is this special? She is the second black model to feature alone on the cover of British Vogue in 13 YEARS.

Naomi Campbell appeared alone on the cover back in 2002.

Dunn posted the following message on her Instagram page:

13 years….hmmmmm. Thank you so much Vogue. So brave… so brave… (breaks out the Prosecco) *sarcasm*

I guess we will have to wait another 13 years before the third black model graces their coveted cover again.
