SBTV founder Jamal Edwards

SBTV founder Jamal Edwards (24) will receive an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) from the Queen, for his services to the music industry.

His online channel SBTV, has over 150 million YouTube hits and over 215,000 channel subscribers. It has revolutionised the UK music scene and discovered some of today’s biggest UK music stars, such as Ed Sheeran.

Edwards is also an ambassador for MTV’s Staying Alive Foundation.

I always thought that you had to be at least over 35 to receive an honour. He has to be the youngest person ever to receive one.
