The scum bag population has just added their newest member.
Shocking footage from a security camera inside the Webster Ave. store near E. 170th St. at Claremont Park shows the suspect open fire on the victim at point-blank range after an argument erupted during a rap video shoot early Saturday. At least five people stepped over the victim’s body to leave the store before emergency workers brought him to a hospital, where he remained in critical condition Monday.
The violence erupted after the two men — who had been arguing during a low-budget music video shoot on Webster Ave. — spilled into the deli near E. 170th St. early Saturday, police and the store’s owner say.
“They were fighting over who’s the star, who’s better,” the store’s owner, Ali Abdul, told the Daily News soon after the shooting.
“They were drunk. They spit at each other, then one guy pulled out a gun and shot the other guy five times.”
The victim was grazed in the head, took one bullet to the chest and was hit in each leg, cops said.
According to reports today the 37 year old victim is no longer on the critical list.
The suspect is still at large.
