BBC News reports that legendary soul singer Booby Womack has died. He was 70 years old.

The cause of death has not known yet, but Womack had suffered from cancer and Alzheimer’s disease and battled with drug addiction.

Bobby is survived by four of his six children. His son Vincent committed suicide in 1986 aged 21 and another son, Truth, died aged four months in 1978.
